In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we will be baking up cupcake versions of pastelitos (buttermilk cupcakes, stuffed with cream cheese icing, and topped with guava buttercream). We will also be making a donation to MHP Salud.

- Sri Lankan Lentil: A warming soup made with red lentils, crushed tomatoes, onions, carrots, and coconut milk, seasoned with Sri Lankan white curry. (VG)
Tuesday
- Hungarian Beef Gulyás: Our take on a Hungarian classic, made with tender beef, a medley of sautéed vegetables, Hungarian paprika, and caraway seeds.
- John’s First at Bat Corn Chowder: Fresh corn off the cob, potatoes, and poblanos seasoned with sweet paprika and thyme in a creamy veggie broth. (V)
Wednesday
- Tomato De-Vine: Our take on an American classic. A smooth and mellow purée of tomatoes, sautéed onions, and rich béchamel. (V)
- Chicken Noodle: Hand-pulled, roasted chicken, homestyle noodles, and vegetables all nestled in our house-made chicken broth.
Thursday
- Turkey Urfa Chili: Organic turkey, tomatoes, and kidney beans seasoned with green chili powder and pepper flakes from the town of Urfa, Turkey.
- 5 O’clock Cheddar Ale: A creamy blend of Vermont cheddar and amber ale; seasoned with Marash red pepper flakes from Turkey and Vinagre de Jerez. (V)
Friday
- Papa Chorizo: A hearty soup of spicy chorizo, green lentils, and sautéed vegetables in our house-made stock seasoned with herbs and a hint of cayenne.
- John’s Roasted Reds: A new vegan addition to our soup menu. A purée of roasted red peppers and tomatoes in a spicy coconut basil broth. (VG)

Wheat Berry Salad
Tender, chewy wheat berries, grape tomatoes, and tender green beans with organic greens tossed in house-made lemon Dijon vinaigrette.
Mara's Well Dressed Chicken Salad
Our house-made chicken salad on organic greens with cucumber, red onion, walnuts, and dried cherries. Dressings available to choose.
Bakechop Salad

Ortiz bonito (albacore) line-caught tuna, hard-boiled egg, chewy wheat berries, tender green beans, grape tomatoes, and briny Niçoise olives with organic greens tossed in our house-made lemon Dijon vinaigrette.

Our Farm Loaf has a thick crust and soft white chewy interior with the flavor of toasted wheat. This bread is created from nothing but organic flour, water, sea salt, our natural sourdough starter, and time. It’s perfect for every meal and every taste.

We offer baking classes!
Join us for a hands-on baking class at BAKE!, our onsite teaching bakery for home bakers and cooks. We offer dozens of different classes from bread baking, pastry, cake, savory baking to cooking classes, both in our teaching kitchens and online with virtual classes.

Zingerman’s Bakehouse is an artisanal bakery with a baking school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We started 30 years ago as a simple bread bakery with a single customer, Zingerman’s Delicatessen. Today we make bread, pastries, cakes, lunch items (and so much more!) that we proudly serve to guests in our bustling shop, our Zingerman’s partner businesses, the southeastern Michigan community and beyond.
