Pumpernickel Raisin Bread

Our traditional, old-world style Pumpernickel bread with the pleasing addition of juicy Red Flame raisins and subtly nutty sesame seeds. This dark bread is moist, densely chewy, a little tangy, and a little sweet. It’s great toasted with a schmear of award-winning, Zingerman’s Cream Cheese from our neighbor, Sanilac Creamery; or slice it thinly and make crisps that would be a welcome component on any cheeseboard.
