King Cake

Our King Cake (or galette des rois) is a traditional French dessert made of buttery layers of puff pastry, filled with almond frangipane, and decorated with curved spiral lines on top and scalloped on the edge. It resembles a king’s crown. Each cake is baked with one whole almond inside. Get the lucky slice and you’re crowned king (or queen) of the party!
