A childhood favorite, all grown up! After wondering what would happen if we changed up the recipe for Graham crackers using great ingredients, we created an intensely-flavored cookie more delicious than what we munched on as kids. The flavor boost was accomplished by freshly milling our own flour from organic soft white wheat from Kischnick Farms in Vassar, MI. The switch amped up the cookie’s toasted wheat flavor and hearty, crisp texture. The local honey from Gearig Apiaries Honey in Ithaca, MI and the warming cinnamon and spicy bite of ginger don’t hurt either. So make a fire and create your own s’mores with our oh-so-tasty Graham crackers and the Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory’s delectable handmade marshmallows; you’ll be a happy camper indeed!
(Psst…we’ve been baking the Graham Crackers here for many years now, but the “Glasgow” in the name of the Graham crackers is new. It’s added to honor Detroit Lions player and U of M alum Graham Glasgow, who, it turns out, is a BIG fan of the ZCoB in general and the Bakehouse in particular!)
