Eve’s Apple Babka

A babka created for the Jewish High Holidays, made with apples and honey—iconic foods of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Roasted apples, toasted walnuts, and local Michigan honey from Gearig Apiaries in Ithaca, Michigan make a sweet temptation from the garden of Ann Arbor. (Get the Eve reference now?) Although this babka was created for a special occasion, it’s excellent all through apple season at any time of the day.
