Hamentaschen are back! A bright spot in the middle of winter is Purim, the Jewish holiday which celebrates the triumph of Persian Jews over the wicked minister Hamen. Purim brings hamentaschen, the traditional, three-cornered pastry pockets, stuffed with sweet filling. It's hard to go wrong with a hamentaschen at any time of the day. This month we're baking apricot, poppy seed, prune, or vanilla bean cream cheese. Gift boxes too!
Stop in for a taste! This month we're adding Cardinal Slice, a very special Hungarian espresso cream dessert, and Boston Cream Pie to our full-flavored line up of tasty pastry. We're also bringing Mississippi Mud Pie and Indian Strudel back from vacation. Pay us a visit soon so we can give you a taste and tell you all about them.
