We peel and grate forty pounds of fresh carrots to make one batch of this cake. All those carrots add an incredible moistness and fresh sweetness to the cake. Pogácsa- (po-gotcha) Hungary's all purpose roll. A cross between a biscuit and a scone, ours is rich with Zingerman's Creamery farm cheese, sweet butter, fresh eggs, and lightly yeasted. Available with or with out a tasty poppy, sesame and caraway seeded top.
