Better Than San Francisco Sourdough

Classic American bread with a beautifully blistered crust, pleasant sour tang and chewy texture. This is our go to bread for grilled cheese Wednesdays at the Bakehouse. Better than San Francisco Sourdough Rounds are $4.50 this month (regular $6.25).

Cake of the Month

Rigó Jancsi

A traditional Hungarian coffeehouse torte named after Rigó Jancsi [ree-go yan-CHEE] (1858-1927), a famous Hungarian violinist who seduced and married Clara Ward, Princesse de Caraman-Chimay. It’s two light layers of chocolate sponge cake filled with chocolate rum whipped cream and iced with apricot glaze and dark chocolate ganache. Rigó Jancsi tortes and slices are 20% off this month.


Chocolate Cream Pie

Mmmmm. Yes please! Chocolate crust and rich custard made with dark Belgian chocolate and Mindo chocolate from Dexter, MI. We top each hand-made pie with sweetened whipped cream made with heavy cream from Guernsey farms dairy in Northville, MI. Stop in and ask for a taste!

Roses cake
This sweet and luscious looking cake is completely covered in hand-piped pink butter cream rosettes and a sprinkle of sparkle. Inside are tempting layers of buttermilk chocolate cake and fresh strawberry butter cream. Available all month long!

Fat Tuesday & Mardis Gras


Traditional fried polish doughnuts made with a little Spirytus alcohol in the dough. Available in these flavors: raspberry preserves with powdered sugar, chocolate pudding with sweetened cocoa, sweet ricotta cheese with powdered sugar, rose hip jam with vanilla glaze, or plum jam with vanilla glaze. King Cake

The traditional version of the Mardi Gras centerpiece. No food coloring or plastic dolls, just buttery layers of puff pastry filled with our own almond frangipane. Each cake is baked with one whole almond inside, get the lucky slice and you’re crowned king (or queen) of the party! Available 2/28-3/4 only!
