It’s Camp Bacon May 31- June 3 in the Zingerman’s Community so that means you’ll find bacon in some unusually delicious places. We’re definitely bakin’ with bacon.

Some weekend treats to kick off the month of June (my personal favorite month –great weather, end of the school year, summer solstice) are:

· Bacon Apple Donuts with a Maple Glaze – A complete breakfast in about 5 bites! (Saturday morning at the bakery, only)

· Peppered Bacon Farm Bread – Add some lettuce and tomato and your BLT is complete.

· Bacon Cheddar Scones – Buttery and smokey scones great with eggs.

· Pecan Sandies with Bacon – An American classic butter cookie made even better with bacon. Rick Strutz, Delicatessen Managing Partner is looking forward to eating an entire bagful at 2 am with his nightcap of milk.
